Oh Lord, buttermilk!!! GROSS! It's not so much the drink, perhaps, but the way the glass looks afterwards, LOL!! Got this aversion directly from my precious grandfather who would quickly leave the room if he saw an empty buttermilk glass sitting there.

Any vegetable from a can, except green beans. Condiments. Turnips, parsnips and pickled pigs' feet.

But I loved kippered herring, fried oysters, beef marrow and the 'leather' in the bottom of the Jello bowl.

I'm no different now but since I select the food I don't have to have canned veggies.

I did not like meat and onions. I disliked meat because I had difficulty chewing it, because of an underbite and would pick the onions out of all food and still do if they are large pieces. I still dislike meat today.

I hated canned peas! To this day I still don't like them if I'm having vegetable soup and I get a pea I roll it under my tongue and swallow them whole. Can't stand the taste of them, other than that I was pretty good with everything else.

Squash and turnip greens - but not together. I love both of them now.

My dad liked brains and eggs for breakfast. I hated it then; I hate it now!

This made me laugh. As a child I simply hated liver and lima beans. Liver I have made only twice in 49 yrs. and lima beans never.

My DH picks on me for being a Wisconsin grown gal.. as I hate all the things Wisconsin is known for.. beer, brats and cheese. The only cheese I can do is.. mozzarella on pizza.. I am way to fussy an eater to list all of my food. Yet by looking at me, people would never guess I am a fussy eater.

mashed turnips... My grandmother made me sit at the table until I ate them... I finally did a few hours later and promptly returned them to her ... I was about 12 or 13 never ate them again.
