There are so many things I've learned from the QB but I think overall it would have to be: "Go with what you love to do the most". "Don't worry over an ugly quilt you are unhappy with and don't waste you time on things you don't like." Don't let naysayers or "know-it-alls", ruin your day our stifle your creativity or "rain" on your parade."!!! It's your money, time, and quilt!...

Elmer's glue! It has made a great impact when it comes to applying the the batting and quilt top onto the backing on the frame. Such a timesaver and foolproof, too.

I have learned so much on the board that I couldn't pick just one. Probably the best thing I learned is that there is no "dumb" question. You all are the best!!

The best tip I got from here is that there are no Quilt Police on this site. I have been quilting a very long time more than some that do way better work than me but, no one judges here.

I've already posted, but just had to add another. I was feeling really bored about my borders. I had just finished a scrappy quilt that I was really happy with and didn't want to do the same old same old with the borders. I put a picture on a thread and asked for design ideas. What an eye opener, not only did I get great answers for the quilt I was working on but the input helped me think outside my own particular box. The threads that ask for design input are still my favorite threads. Its like taking a mini design workshop.
