Well when I started reading this I was thinking, I really don't have but 1 or 2 UFO's, then the more I would read the more I remembered all the ones I had forgot about. LOL Maybe I really need to get serious about participating in this. Now to deciede should I go and really see how many I have or just pick the first one and go from there? Then, does anyone have a few extra hours in your day you'd like to give to me???? Life is good!!!

hi everyone,
I am new here, but I made a New Year's resolution to get a list made, and start working on them.
I love UFO's, course I started calling them PHD's in January of this year. I had nearly 70 on my list and I think I am down to 63 or so. These are a combination of quilts I've started or kits and fabric I've purchased since 2000. I have finished 3 queen/king quilts, several tablerunners, baby quilt and started a tablerunner kit I purchased. So I think I am doing pretty good. I also sew clothing and I have a list of those things too.
Will upload pictures later today.
Enjoy your day and I'll see you later.

I started this quilt in July of 2004 in a class, the teacher/designer only had available the center of the quilt. Waited for the outside "flying qeese", "sunbursts" and mountains on the right and bottom of the quilt. Finally had to sit down and figure out measurements on my own. Did pretty good for my first time.
Wanted the quilt to fit a Queen, so I add the Buffalo scene borders to each side. Will give to my son and daughter-in-law for christmas this year. They presently live in Alaska.
One more PHD (UFO) complete.

Robinlee, what does PHD stand for? The last time I heard that used for anything other than a degree, it meant 'piled higher and deeper'

This is a quilt I just finished in April, 2010. When I bought this fabric it was 1988 and I wanted to start quilting. The receipt said I spent $136,00 on the fabrics for the top and backing. I remember getting it home, and went to shrink it and it scared the crap out of me.
So needless to say, it went in a tote and I carried it from house to house till 2003. I pulled it out in February of that year and had the top for this one done and a Delectable Mountain done in 5 weeks. Both are Quilt in a Day patterns from Eleanor Burns.
Finally pulled this one out in January 2010 to get longarm quilted and put the binding on. Another UFO/PHD done this year.
