Worse than that. I have bought the fabric and thread for several projects and haven't even started them yet! I usually like to start and complete a project before I move on to the next one. I've had some "hiccups" in the process so now I have several UFOs.

Oh my goodness, YES! I always have at least 2 short term and several long term projects going at any one time. Especially as the holidays get closer, but mostly all the time.

I have many in different stages of completion and different sizes, some baby, lap, prayer, totes, wall hangings.

This keeps me moving when I need a gift I can choose one that is appropriate and can be finished in time for when I need it.

I love to work this way.

    peace

I, currently have 6 Christmas runners pieced, hand quilting and with hand-bind them (the quilting and binding is being done on trips in the car to and from North Carolina and Kansas) , a Lone Star quilt 86 x 86 that I am attaching the binding and will hand bind it when it is on , a fall quilt 80 x 80 that is being hand binding, a piecing a 1930's quilt, another fall quilt, and a 4-square posy that I am having fun playing with and I am not bored with my life at all - just lovin' this quilting. The board is wonderful when I run into an "issue". Oh yes, I have been quilting exactly 1 year and 7 months!!!

Used to never start a new quilt until the previous was done in its entirety. Then I retired the end of March. I have been whipping off quilt tops like there's no tomorrow. Have settled done a little though and recently finished hand quilting two of the tops this month. And I wonder why the carpal tunnel syndrome hit me so hard.......then I remembered an important word....moderation

Is there any other way to quilt? If so I certainly wasn't aware of it.
