I finished the quilting on my veteran's quilt. The pattern is a free 5 yard one from woodvalleydesigns.com.

Silly Susan, Do you have a cat? Mickey probably has been in residence for some time.

Was sitting ( like the picture) in the recliner with three pins and a needle. Dozed off and lost the needle. Took about 20 minutes to find but I got a small jab in the posterior. There it was.

My applique project is Bouquet for a New Day. It's a Sue Garman pattern. This is block #4 out of 12. It's needle turn applique. I'm happy to just sit and sew applique pieces all day.
I see an Over the River pattern. Love it. Did mine in tones of browns. It's hanging in my living room.
Keep on sewing. Love the Hunters Star!

Thursday, had to work. Friday-Dr appts down the mountain. So Saturday, finally turned on the computer. I'm in. Also, have gardening, but that will wait until monday after DD & DSIL deliver horse manuer on Sunday. It's been raining all week so by Monday it'll be dry enough to dig in some manuer.

Have two quilts sandwicked and ready to quilt. Also finished 1 top for the Irish Chain sew-along. Want to put decorative stitching in the white squares. Angela said she'd give me a private lesson on my new Bernina. So need to get that ready for next week. That's plenty of ambition.

Wow, so many wonderful projects! I did get up to my sewing room (slowly) and made a cover for one of my ice packs I use on my ankle and did some hand work on my hexie project. It's almost done!

Took a time out for dinner and a short walk with Hubble and two Aussies. Two more cats.
