Do You Sew Every Day
#62
I try to sew at least five days a week after my children go to bed (8ish) but before my husband comes home from work(midnightish)! I don't get much done while the kids are awake and it gets in the way since I sew at the kitchen table. I have to pack everything up for meal times!

My husband says I treat my sewing room like a work day... I sew almost every day for at least 4-5 hours... it is my sanity. I just can't seem to get enough playtime in... that is my call sign... PLAYTIME.... the way I live my life these days.... of course .... I love it when my grandson is here... he is the only thing that will stop me from quilting.

I try to do something quilt-related every day. Today it's nothing exciting, I'm sewing down the binding on a birthday gift quilt. Tomorrow I'll try and do the next step on my guild's mystery quilt.

I don't - only n fits and starts, mostly fits at that! Maybe I should try - just 1/2 h/d I could do one little trinity pattern in flying goose block. In 46 1/2h I could have that much of the quilt done. Hmmm! You are a good influence!

When I am home, I try to sew most every day. Sometimes for an hour, sometimes as many as 6 hours, depending on my project at hand. I am retired, so I have the luxury of deciding how I spend my time. Most week-ends are busy with family and activities, so those are usually the days I take off.
