That is a great combo. Enough contrast for a block and a whole quilt. Good job picking those fabrics.

see what it looks like when the whole thing is done, I have often adjusted a quilts main color by adding a border that balances the whole thing.

It is very pretty and I like it a lot. My kind of fabric. Really a soft look. I can see myself cuddling up in this!

I have used the same fabric of dark background and always get compliments on the quilt. It is with other shades of pruple and very pretty........as is yours!

Nope! Definitely NOT too much purple. You can never have too much purple! :-) It's pretty - go for it!
