MiraB ... that's going to be a beauty! I was like Anael, and saw it as an old tile pattern and thought too, that it was a monotone sort of an effect ........ and liked it! Your kids are pretty smart ... DD "gives" you your quilting assignments. Then the BloodHound sniffs his way home to those delicious aromas!!

Watch out Anael ... you never know who might show up on your doorstep now that you made that slice!!

Isn't great to have Mirabelle back, showing us great job on a new quilt, and talk of great recipes as tried by Anael who never gave us a picture before it was gone? Guess it is left to our imagination. After all that help with a Crock Pot, no word from Anael about that either.

Its just great reading about all the adventures each of you are having. Love every story and picture. Have a great day.

QNS, I'm sorry if I didn't say anything. I prepared 3 meals in my crock, the first one I had to toss, used way too much onions, the second and third one went very well. I still have to learn when to start so I can eat when it's ready and not the next day because it had to cook till 11 pm

The batteries of the camera are dead but will be ready in a few hours again so I will take a picture of the Caramel Slice. I'm sure it won't be all gone.

Very nice, Honchey. Love all the colors in it. I have done 3 stack and whack quilts and it took us awhile to do them.

4 pattern repeats stacked.. cut into 9.5" x 2" wide strips, 2 different sashings, sewn into blocks set on point...the orientals make beautiful stack & whacks...This was my first..I have another I've been stitching in the ditch for 4 yrs..it's a queen..and 2 others in the works and in totes...I go back to all my WOP every once in awhile...
