i'm doing ok... i reduced the bandages this morning as directed by the doc.
i now have a boxers hand instead of a caveman club lol...

joan have a lovely time with the family, it's great (and easier) to now be able to picture you all together, having now seen your lovely family pics :-*
have a wonderful christmas time! it'll be great to all be back together! what do you get up to??

you too patti! have a fabulous time! what are your plans?

i wonder how dayle's getting on? funny to think she has swim suit weather!!! (in my dreams!!) lol... having said that, the weather is behaving itself somewhat at the moment. it's just dull and damp. i can cope with that!! no ice!! woohoo!!!

we're having christmas day at my parents with all our family, also col's dad & brother. col & i plan on sleeping their too.
i have 2.5 hours work on tuesday & thursday doing the 'tea time' shift, then i'm off until the 11th jan.
i should be able to cope with that left handed cooking and washing up lol...

i think i told you in my 'row robin' letter that Rachael sings with our local theatre, well... she's been invited to sing at our church tomorrow night.
my mum is in the church choir, and they would like her to start off (with Phoebe) the first verse of 'away in a manger', then we; the congregation will join in with the rest.
i bought Rachael a beautiful red dress from 'The wedding planner' where we're getting all of the dresses for the wedding, so she will look gorgeous! my mum also bought phoebe an equally gorgeous red dress, they will look beautiful together i can't wait to see they both dressed up! i'll show you pics asap (hopefully tomorrow night)

    have a lovely day ladies!!
    love jacquie xxxx

i had to share this with you...

what a laugh i've had reading these posts today!!
thank you ladies!! you've made my day!!

i read the other day that another lady had watched 'it's a wonderful life' and cried at the end of it...
well, i had heard heard of this film many times over the years, but had never seen it.

i decided i just had to see this film to see what all the fuss was about, so i bought the film on itunes the other day. now, because of my PAINFULLY slow internet, (and my mac closing down all of the time, until i 'sussed' it out!!) it took me almost 2 days to load it!! ROFL... great!!!

well, i've just finished watching it, and ohhhh boy!!!!
i cried like a baby!!! DH came in JUST at that point at the end (when i was whaling!!) so i started to laugh, (as i was crying!!!) oh deary me!!!! you should have seen me!!
you should have seen HIM!!! he didn't know what was the matter with me!!! talk about confused!! LOL...

i LOVE that film!!! thank you america!!! for "it's a wonderful life"!!!!
    it surely is!!!

    Default Christmas Holidays

    Jacquie,
I will be going home to my son and daughter in laws on friday and will stay for 4-5 days. I love waking up with my grandchildren on Christmas morning. I have done this for the last 17 years. I wouldn't miss it. Even though they are 13 and 17 we still believe in Santa Claus (Father Christmas). I told them as long as they believe, he will bring them gifts!!!!!
Christmas Eve our family participates in the Live Nativity that our church does prior to the services. Then Paul and Rebecca will sing in the Childrens service at 4pm and Paul and my son Andy sing for the 8pm service, but my favorite service of the whole year is the 11pm Candlelight Service of the Carols. So we will spend the evening at church. This year my granddaughter wants to help cook Christmas dinner so I will have help in the kitchen. She has already told Paul since she is cooking he has to do the dishes! Family and friends will be in and out all day sunday.

Here is wishing you and your a very Merry Christmas and a most Happy New Year! Be careful with that hand, and the left handed wine

I've had a chance to work on the basket row and hope to have some pictures for you tonight. The second time I changed it and I'm happier with the way it's coming out now. Hope you'll like it too.
