Also reported the dedicated spammer -- no one and done with that one!
I'll be starting to put my rows together today. I still have to make the 4 corners, trim and stay stitch the setting units (my extra step, not in the directions) and then just connect. Nice that I already have the border done.
Hubby is still working long hours this week. I'm not that interested in the Winter Olympics -- time to put the guitars on loud and start today's sewing!!

SusieQOH and Iceblossum: Glad to see you are both continuing to make progress.
I’m going to stay stitch the edge of my skinny (possibly only) border today and order the backing and batting. I think I found the perfect backing fabric; maybe it will be great as an outer border.

I'm also debating the flying geese. When I first saw Bonnie's I thought "Oh no, way too busy". We shall see............
I really love this quilt and don't want to add anything that will change my feelings!

Well my quilt top is staring at me wondering if I am going to quilt it. The more I think about it the more I think I am sending it out. Contacted a person in Bell Fl who does quilting. Saw her on Etsy, and I she does nice work. I dont think it will fit on my Grace frame in NY so no sense taking it back home this spring to try to do it there. I thought about doing it on my Solaris but I really dont want to. Hubby said just send it out so I am going to do that. Sister is over Covid, thankfully and looking forward to her new quilt. I love seeing what everyone is doing and I also like hearing from those who just followed us on this journey.

Ok...I did start about 5 weeks late in getting started on actually cutting and stitching this mystery. Slowly getting Clue 6 done. Then, I have to pause for clue 7 & 8 as I have seen so many wonderful variations here and on the Open studio page. I do have all the hourglass units done but may add some of the aqua in when stitching those blocks together and can't decide yet to do diagonal or straight set layout! Hope it doesn't take me too long to decide as I do want to get this one before the snow melts. I never get much stitching done in summer as I prefer to spend as much time outside as I can then. Ummm....Maybe take my little class machine outside this summer!
