So many things make me happy: Hearing my grandchildren laugh, watching the younger grandchildren sleep, listening to the birds when I sit outside, finding one more coffee filter so I can make a pot of coffee, having coffee with my quilting buddies, hearing my Dad's voice (especially when he laughs) on the phone (he's 84 and lives 650 miles away), and so many other things that make me happy and thankful. And yes, finding another roll of toilet paper when you thought you were out.

I am currently listening to a book by P.J. O'Rourke "On the Wealth of Nations", and one of the funniest quotes was
Money does not buy happiness, it just rents it
That made me LOL
But real happiness is how my beagles greet me when I get home from work- they act like they have not seen me in a week (its loud and has lots of wiggles)

Sitting on the couch with my sweetie watching the dog "run" in his dreams! He barks and howls too, sometimes wakes himself up!
