What a beautiful quilt, she will love it and the color choices are gorgeous. Since your daughter gave you the thought on the colors, I am sure she knows that it will please the recipient. Hurry up and finish it, I know she will cherish it. Blessings on all the work you have put into it. You have given me inspiration as that is one quilt I have on my "to do" list, I love that pattern.

I agree with Rebecca VLQ and Sandy-Lou. She hasn't seen THIS quilt yet. It is beautiful and you should be proud to gift it. Now get going and finish it, one nurse to another.

And while I'm sure she loves the one you did for DD, even enough to steal it, she has NO idea what's in store for her with the quilt you are CURRENTLY working on for her. It will be breathtaking and well loved, and I bet it will go very nicely with her "new" color scheme, because this will be the centerpiece.

Trust me, she will love it.

(now, where's the pics before I kick your butt?) :D

That quilt is gorgeous! If it helps any... I had a red and brown bedroom, and made myself a blue/green quilt (my avatar). The reds actually work really well with the blues -- and it's fun to have a total redo once in a while hide the red pillows in the closet, new quilt, rearrange some knick-knacks - and voila! ready for summer!

The quilt is beautiful and I agree that she is probably just wanting you to know how much she loves your work. You will probably laugh about this later. Finish it with the love you have in your heart. It is going to be great!

Maybe she'll paint the room to go with the quilt.
