    Crashnquilt, I'm still chuckling over this story. I'm going to cut and paste to my friend that quilts too. I know she'll love it too. I think you would be a lot of fun to hang out with!!!!

    That's as bad as the time I called a book store (a couple of years ago) to ask if they had a book on Gregg Shorthand and the young clerk asked me if it was an autobiography! Sad, isn't it!

    my goodness my side are hurting from laughing so hard tonight. it will serve her right when one days she tells someone about that poor old lady and the person she talks to knows and explains to her what a dressmakers ham is. glad to know that the joanns by me isn't the only problem one around .

    Thanks for the chuckle....on a serious note though, it's young ones like this that highlight the need for good mentors and managers. Don't forget, they will have a right to "vote in" our governments and more importantly when we get too old and doddery....be choosing our nursing homes.

    Still, we do like to have fun with the young ones sometimes....I always used to tell my young staff "Old age and treachery overcomes youth and skill"...used to get a few blank looks, but after a little training they got it!
