    The rail fence is super duper easy and you can find the instructions on line. I found mine at http://www.victorianquiltdesigns.com

    Thanks so much for posting this. I had pretty much decided I wanted the pinwheel to be the first quilt I make, but this method is so much quicker!!

    "just can't cut" it's a great pattern for big prints. I am able to make a big twin in a weekend. So a baby quilt is a snap....good for you on your new baby......I wish I could smell it..is that weird???

    I make baby quilts by request, but also make them because they make wonderful gifts for baby showers. Here is one I do quite frequently, changing colors according to what the mother wants. (Hope it comes thru since this is the first time I've tried to attach pics)

    Being a GM is the best role in the whole world.. congratulations. Go to your LQS and they will have 1000 fabrics to choose from for the baby......bet you make more than one quilt.....
