I am so sorry to hear about your quilt. I know how you feel because in June when I moved from Oklahoma to Virginia was lost or stolen. It was a king size grandmother's flower garden pattern.

Over the years I have had three quilts disappear in the mailing process but not from my lack of getting proper paperwork but from quilt shops claiming they returned loaned pieces. I feel the same way, if you have to steal it -I hope the quilt comes alive and gives you the curse you deserve. Can we donate a block to you for another one? Moosegirl

So sorry for your cousin and your loss. I know that I would be devistated. Could we send you blocks so that you can make another one? I would be happy to send a pinwheel block. Let us know. Yolanda Wood River

So sorry for this happening, Debbie!

Do you know the "lost quilt" site? Publish here all the informations you have about your quilt (and the picture, if you have... sometimes lost (or stolen) quilts are found through this site... in any way, it becomes more difficult for someone to appear publicly with it!

I hope you can find it!

I will pray that it is an error and your cousin receives the quilt, however I am sick to the core that that can happen in today's day and age. I am so sorry for you and your cousin.

What a shame that things like this happen. Someone took my chiuau puppy about 6 weeks ago and I keep saying how could they do that because she has a collar on they know she belongs to someone. Whoever got that quilt knows where it belongs and we will all pray a quilty feeling every time they look at it.

I sent a quilt at Christmas to a friend and it took a month for it to arrive. Hopefully it will turn up. I'll keep your cousin in my prayers.

This is worse than theft. It does go right to the heart. I sure hope it is returned.
