Maybe your son will be as healthy and active if he keeps eating weeds!

I am 88 and use my computer and quilt. I probably was about 10 when I started sewing in 4H.
I feel very fortunate to have good health, many friends and a wonderful family. My oldest daughter and her husband invited me on a trip to Malvern, England, May, last year to go to their quilt show.
One way I relax is by playing MahJong on my computer.

I'm 76 and am still sewing, quilting and use my computer every day!! My Mom passed away in 2009, she was 91 and still used her computer every day too. She didn't even learn to use one until she was almost 80. So let's all keep on "truckin;"

I will be 73 in October, married 45 years, run my own business, a sign shop. Just finished and delivered a 4' x 8' backlit sign by myself. DGD helped me get it in my jeep for delivery. Sold and trained for Wang Computers, remember them, trained people on ships to use them.i have sewn for at least 60 years, quilting for 20+ years , raising my 11 year old grand daughter, do all of my own cooking, canning, cleaning, etc. I love this thread, let's me know I am not crazy, others love life and don't let the aches get you down. Let's do this again in five years.

wow, I am not the least bit ready to quit! I am 76, love every dayh of life, and like Romona Byrd, I know I will be totally content to live alone if my wonderful hubby passes before me,. He is 81, still plays sr. softball 2 times a week, and is on a travel team, so we keep really busy. I find that a day of loafing is needed once in a while, but 2 days in a row is to much! I know some of hte children and grd, children wonder how we keep going,,,, haha just like the famous batteries, we never stop.....

By the way, I advise you to look into wireless servers.
They work like a cellphone, only it is an antenna that plugs into a usb port - and the signal floats into the computer through the air, works without wires, even if all the power is off and you are operating on the computer battery!
You pay for some of them by an automatic deduction
out of a bank account.
....and they are usually less expensive!
I am 74 and love my quilting and my computer.
Just wanted to say that I have the wireless internet...it is so much faster than dial-up.
