I must have missed the posts with carols. Wish I had been on then. But I want to tell you about a song I heard for the first time yesterday on Syrious radio....Pearl Baily sings "All I want for Christmas Santa is a five pound box of money" She was a funny lady. and the song is so funny too. She says she does not want a money tree; Santa can keep the branches, bark and roots .... she just wants the loot! Now that's the spirit of Christmas

well, had my alarm set and ready to go for today...was even on board shortly before as i was ready for the opening....but life has a way of making demands on us at the most inconvenient times. So, here i am at 9:30 pm, Texas time...opening my present!!!!!

I want to send a BIG THANK YOU to busymom for the wonderful gifts she sent. I got a and warm scarf and footie sox.
lots of fabric,angel ornament, snow man pattern book, Lots of other goodies. Thank you sooooooo much!!

Terri.... Dan found a pattern for making a real coal hod.... we drafted it and made it out of fabric... I had that fabric in my stash and it screamed "coal hod"...
So glad you like it... I still have some people that didn't get their coal to me before I sent your bucket. I'll send it on to you as soon as I receive everyone that is going to send ....

okay....opened present......can't post pictures, still.....hmmmmm......anyway, love what i got. kitchen potholder, ovenmitt and hand towel....red with snowflakes...fabulous, a great christmas table runner and yeah, the pattern to make gifts (next year!!!) and a wonderful homemade pouch....oooh, has a gift card in it!!!! yippee. candy (lots of it....gonna have to hide it from the kiddo's), an american Quilter magazine...can't wait to look through this!!!! great little notecards, and wonderful fat quarters to add to my every growing stash of fat quarters....did i mention that i love fat quarters????? this sure has gone a long way to cheer me up at a much needed time!!!!!!!!!!!!! A great big THANK YOU to my Secret Santa, DeeDee from AR.......

Leota, it's adorable. You did a fabulous job on it.
Ya'll just floor me with what was in that package.
I'm still trying to get the "coal" off of a certain white kitten. Seems he likes to play in the coal. lol
