What a great idea, calla. I did go because they had the easy angle and companion angle rulers on sale. I also had a 60% off the notion wall and needed some needles. Got out of the store under $25. Not bad for me.

Great quilts, mitch'sgrand. I am still pulling papers off the log cabin blocks. I swear they multiply overnight.

I did mega Christmas shopping today....stopped at Hancock Fabrics.....JoAnn's is on the other end of the City..and savings were about the same...I got fleece to make sleep pants for our growing GS's and fabric to make 2 of the little girls skirts...one of those has a BD in early January so it's a double whammy buying for her..having 11 Grands is a challenge...so yes I fell off to, but not quilting fabric....

It's not falling off if it's for a project. I've got my 60% off coupon and need to replace my 24 inch ruler. A set of needles also sounds good.

I started working part time at a quilt shop a few months ago. So far I've been good and purchases have only been to finish UFOs and only what's needed when my stash did not have the color or type of fabric for the monthly color design challenge. Oops, I forgot the fabrics for a flange binding demo at quilt guild. I made placemats ( lots of corners to show the mitered corners on the front) and donated them to mobile meals.

The Yahoo NYE Mystery calls for a 40 strip jelly roll and a background fabric. I may cheat and buy one that's been talking to me at the quilt shop.

Wow, Playswithcolor and OKsewglad. I am totally impressed. I would be so bad if I worked at an LQS! Meanwhile, I just had 47 people over for dinner & a party on Saturday, so all my holiday hosting is over. I hope to get a few more things done for Christmas. Didn't get anything on the black/cyber weekend, but I'm thinking I should spread some Christmas cheer at my LQS!

Are we all behaving? I have been a very good girl.

I don't know 47 people, let alone any I care to feed and entertain. That chore list cuts WAY too deep into the sewing time. Everyone - get your own friends somewhere else - bowahaha!
