Macybaby yours look great too. It will be interesting to see how the blue plays into the design, I bet it will be great.

Love everyone's colors. Amazing how the same color palette can yield such a variety. These will be beautiful quilts. I have been a Bonnie lurker for a few years but this year I am jumping in! I am only making 1/2 the blocks -- hoping for more of a lap size. This is what I found in my stash....not as scrappy as I would have liked but I am determined to use only what I have on hand. As a result I am swapping the grey for a slate blue but I think I like the colors together.
Now I am getting excited for the first clue. Good Luck to everyone!

I would LOVE to go shopping but the flight to go shopping is over $400. So I'm having to shop online- and picking materials is very difficult to do. Maybe I'll just print out the directions and do it when I'm back in MN.

DH said it wasn't that I saved by using stash, I just "pre-invested" LOL!!!
I think the green compliments your other colors better than the blue. LOVE your fabrics!!

Where do we look for finished pictures of past Bonnie Hunter mystery quilts? The FB page has a timeline full of her inspirational pics but I don't see finished quilts there... Are they buried in the fb page?

edit: I did a Bonnie Hunter search here in the Quilting Board and found a couple gorgeous finished tops! I still would like to see a large batch of finished quilts.

there are lots of finished photos in this thread http://www.quiltingboard.com/quiltin...55071-216.html, but there's over 200 pages to look through (I suggest starting at the end)

Go to the Google Images website. Type in "Bonnie Hunter" and the name of the quilt you want to see. For example "Bonnie Hunter Celtic Solstice".

Here's the link to Celtic Solstice pictures on Google Images:

Have fun!!!

Here are my fabrics. They are all from my stash except for the gray. It's not a color I have a lot of, especially that large a piece. I picked up a couple more neutrals today that I may use in place of some of the others I put into the photo.

Leslie, love your fabrics! The neutrals are terrific and I love the tones of your reds and gold. Can't wait to see your finished quilt.
