I just cleaned up my piecing area and have been working on piecing Clue #4. I'm wondering if I should trim my rectangles before putting them together or if I should just go ahead and put them together and then trim the squares. Any suggestions?

I found this bit (post #974) referring to trimming the finished unit rather than each component.

Thanks for the input. I guess I'll have to figure out what will work best. I'm pretty sure I don't have any undersized rectangles as I've been randomly measuring as I do them. I guess I'll just have to try it both ways. This is such a tedious step as it is and I'm not even doing a full size quilt. I'm about 75% of the way to having all of my rectangles done. I can't WAIT till this step is done! LOL
