I decided to make 8 more blocks for Mystery Train 18 because I couldn’t think of a border combo I wanted to do. I have the 4 patches sewn and some 2.5” squares cut for neutral/colored 4 patches. I also serged the rest of the changing pads I brought home a while back from a baby charity. I will tuck the ends in tonight so I can drop them off soon.

Macybaby, Your houses are really cute. I am in for the quilting this week end. I have three table runners I want to finish. I got the tops all done and now to cut batting and backing and put the glue between and then start to quilt them. They have all been made with tumblers scraps from xmas and fall that I cut out a while back. Have fun everyone and show us the progress.

Aother VQW, how inspiring! Good luck to everyone with their stitching. I look forward to seeing and reading about everyone's progress!

My goals for this VQW:
1.) Catch up on my 365 blocks (I think I need to do 5)
2.) Do the tying on my son's quilt that is getting a new top and put on the new binding
3.) Make and attach the extra blocks for my mother's quilt that needs to be bigger.

Good morning all! I'm off to Quilters Day Out in an hour. I hope to find red fabric for patriotic blocks I plan to make at the retreat next weekend. Yesterday I did a little quilting and a little organizing. Definitely need to do more when I return later today! Sounds like we've all been hard at work, getting things done.

Happy national quilting day everyone! Hope to get a little stitching done this morning. Have a parade, movie and dinner with friends today. Happy St. Patrick's day also.

I'm in. So many things I need to get done. Am working on another Sunrise, this one out of a brown layer cake and some candy fabric. Somehow I cannot get it off the design wall and to the sewing machine without turning it around and getting it upside down. Almost got it done now. I'll get a picture.

Good morning VQW'ers, just had to check in. I have a 'hot date,' later this morning with my two main guys (my adult grandson and grand-son-in-law). These guys are very special to me.
But, when I checked into the thread this morning I did see some pix posting from yesterday. Beautiful work ladies, I am going to post this shot of my 'Sunbonnet Sue,' that is a WIP. I know it's not quilting but, it's a time filler. As one of my late aunt's would say, "idle hands is the devil's workshop." When I sit around watching the tellie, I got to be doing something. This little piece keeps me from doing nothing.
Well I got to get ready to step-out for a while. When I return I think I'll plan to make some stitches on the 401a. I do have a quilt set up on it.
Happy National Quilt Day and enjoy your St Patty's parades everyone

Battle Axe, I know the feeling. I mixed up the order of the blades in my huge fan when I was putting them back up after cutting (with scissors - that's a blast from the past). I began to think I had put some together incorrectly before I figured it out.
