I was watching the news earlier today and this hurricane looks scary! Please be safe everyone in it's path!

My vacation home is in the direct path of the hurricane. Calabash, NC We are only about 2 miles from the ocean by the way the crow flies. Most of the people in the neighborhood have evacuated.. I'm happy to be home in NJ right now but I'm worried that the destruction is going to be severe.

Honchey, Gosh, it would be so stressful to watch the coverage on TV, knowing you have a house in the middle of the storm. Prayers going up and sure hope your home is not distroyed!!!

I have tons of fabric and 3 top of the line Viking machines in my sewing room Plus 2 sergers and a Pfaff 4.0. I will be devastated.

Honchey, the main thing to remember is that things can be replaced. Lives can not be. All we can do is make sure your insurance is in place and pray. I hope your house will be spared. My fears are that most of the fishing piers will go into the ocean this time. It was heart-breaking when Frisco lost theirs. Wrightsville and Kure's are in the direct path this time.
