No haven’t had to pay any extra for the packet.

Gosh you are good naming yours already; I haven’t thought of a name for mine at all and wouldn’t have a clue what to do so in any case.
Now that it is here and I have seen it is there anything you particularly do not like colour wise or would rather I don’t do to it?

Will take a picture of it this morning for the beginning, do you wish to see what I do with it before I send it off or will you wait until the second border goes on for that, then again maybe you don’t want to see it again until it returns home?
Am open to suggestions.

Cheers
Maybe1day :D

Gosh we are a very quiet group by comparison, so what is everyone up to? Are all the centres where they are supposed to be? Are we still excited or now feeling a little daunted?

Now I have my first centre I am going to hang it for a week at least until I get a feel for what will assist it to grow beautifully. Next Wednesday I shall even take it out on a little outing to the LQS where I go to sew just so I can try out various fabrics and colours (and because all my sewing buddies are keen to see this project)

I hope to post it out again by the 20th October mainly because we have holidays coming up so I am going to be a little busier than usual from Nov to the end of Dec.

I know what I am doing and got a start on it yesterday. Tried the idea I had and like it so will continue. Lots of pieces so will take awhile. I hope everyone wants to see the progress on each round as it sounds like some of this group couldn't stand to wait a WHOLE YEAR to see their quilts!
I think everyone is quiet now as they are thinkng and looking and sewing on the first border. We will have to chat to encourage each other.

Okay here is a picture as requested of Kherrin's gorgeous centre.
Possibilities are bounding around  The colours are even more vibrant in the flesh (so to speak).

WOW, that is amazing, Kay! I already have some thoughts about possible borders. Since I get it next, I appreciate being able to see it and start thinking about what to do....even as I am working on the current center.
Thanks for posting the picture.

Maybe1day are you sure that is my block...LOL...it looks better in the picture than I expected!!! I have no dos or don'ts for this center! This is my first ever round robin just like everyone else in this group...let your imagination be your guide...it will be fun to see what everyone adds to it to make it better.

That's going to be the fun part of this round robin...seeing what someone else will do with a center that I started. I can't wait!

Yes I am sure that is your centre Kherrin

Glad to hear others have some ideas already cause this lass doesn't have many at all currently, one of the formative ideas I do have may or may not be followed up.

As I am not sure about it, I am letting the centre sit awhile and in the meantime will draw up a coloured paper boarder to place around it just so I can see if I like the effect or not?

Oh this is so exciting!
