Default Want opinions of Red Snappers for your long arm

I will be going to the IMQA Machine Quilters Showcase in Cedar Rapids in May and thinking about purchasing the Red Snappers for my 14' table. I'd like to hear your opinions on this. I have added additional leaders with zippers already, but still actually pin to the leader that I zip on (did this primarily so I could turn it easier or take off if needing to switch a quilt) so still pinning. Would like a system that is quick, holds the quilt squarely, works with me floating most tops, is easy to use without ripping off my already mangled finger nails and hurting my hands. Does anyone use them on a 14' table?

Thanks!

I love them. Once they are "broken in" they are a dream, truly quick and easy to use. They are stiff to begin but if you warm them in the sun (or a blow dryer) the first couple of times they are wonderful and fast and super easy

I use them on my 12' table and love them. I think I love Renae's side tension system, the Red-E-Edge, even more. I don't think it would be any different on a 14' table.

Mine were stiff to begin with, almost gave up, they become more flexible over time. Never thought about heating them but over in uk not many sunny days.

Im sure I watched a video before and after I purchased them.

We use a stapler where the ends of the staples "flare out". Instead of curling in to the center of the staple. The stapler is more like like a pair of pliers than a desk stapler. My DH runs the stapler and I hold the fabric and zipper in alignment. We have gone back to partially floating our quilt tops and I do pin the bottom of the quilt top to the canvas

I use them on my 9' frame, and will never look back. Love them.

I use them on my 10 ft. I love them. They are so much quicker and easier to load. No more stabbed fingers.

I have them, they are broke in (used) but I seem to need more hands!, so I still pin.

Have em, use them all the time, love em. What more can be said? Wouldn't even consider putting a quilt on my frame without them.

I made my own. I used flexible water line which I screwed together with a threaded post. I sewed a channel in my leader to put that in. Then I use rope lighting pieces to snap the quilt onto the leader. It works great and cost under $20. I love it!
