    I just wanted to say a big Thank you to SulaBug for hosting this fun BOM. She is so attentive to this thread encouraging and helping us every step of the way. Also, thank you to rwquilts for our February block. I am looking forward to spending the whole year with this great group.

    Thanks Andii. You're right about that ice cream. Fabric is so fun. I'm definitely a monochromatic devotee and pinks/purples are my favorite.

    I would like to thank SulaBug for hosting this fun BOM. This is my first time following a BOM.
    Thank you rwquilts for such a cute kitty block. It was another fun paper piecing.
    I have enjoyed seeing what others have designed, all very pretty.

    So many doing the monthly calandah blocks BOM, such a good choice for the year Sulabug, gives us so many blocks to look and enjoy!

    Here is my February block, I really need to explain again......

    It's our last month of summer very hot and humid, so I have added the yellow for the heat and sun, but it is also our wet season here in the north of Australia, storms, floods, cyclones (hence the umbrellas) and the grey background.

    I love all your blocks, well done to everyone!!

    Great block Carolyn. It's not our wet season here in the south but we sure have had a few good storms plus giant hail. I'm looking forward to Autumn.
