    Quilter65 your Elvis is NICE.

Here is my candle wicking center with my first border. The purple is some of my MotherInLaw's dotted Swiss. I tried all three versions of Jaba's block, loved them all but decided alternating the blocks was really cute! My next round I think I need to add another color. Also, I tried to find directions for the ribbon border but couldn't. What am I missing?

Honestly, I nearly didn't jump in and join but I'm so glad I did. I'm learning new things and finishing a project I have to do anyway!! WIN/WIN. Thank you jaba and elizabrat!!

Looks great SheriR, your sister-in-law is going to love this. What a nice memory you are making for her.

That looks great. Nice job matching the white fabric in the border to the block. Given the vast array of different whites I'm thinking that can be trickier than it sounds.

I totally agree! Your border treatment is fantastic, the dotted Swiss really brings out the centerpiece.

SheriR that turned out so neat. I think I may have a candlewick something stashed about somewhere and this gives me an idea. Sorry about the double Elvis post. Not sure what I did, but pressed something twice apparently.
