And getting back to Orca Bay Mystery: I had a really boring weekend. I was on call for hospice, and luckily no one needed me much but I had to hang close around, and the guys were watching football. So it gave me lots of undisturbed time. I can't believe that I have them done already, all 350 blocks have wings! I'm glad that it's using up scraps. I didn't even hope to keep up with the steps, but i am! It's a great project.

That's the one thing that made me insane. There are 2 mouthwashes that are helpful Biotene and Miracle Mouthwash. You can probably get samples where your DH has his treatments done.

Make sure he is using a soft toothbrush and a gel toothpaste. Just tell him to go easy

Watch out for crunchy foods, especially things like chips. They can easily scratch tender gums

    Hang in there

SaraSewing, What colors are you doing the steps in? I haven't even started step 5 yet. I plan on trying to sew today. I did mine in scrappy pinks and blues. So I guess I will stay scrappy with the pinks being the background color. I
was moving right along till I came to this part 5 . I couldn't decide if I should use the blue as my background or the pink.
Could you post a picture so I can see yours.

Oh, Carolyn, hope the remedies you were given can give your hubby some relief.
I am anxious to see your progress. Please show us. And don't forget that the wings are NOT using your background color, so it'd be blue for you. I almost started cutting background wings when I realized that mine should be brown, lol.

JeanieG, thanks for walking me thru this. So what do you think of my colors. The purples are much prettier than they are here.
