I believe a person (like Alex), has to have a good perspective/mind set to beat
stage four cancer, especially pancreatic cancer.
Alex loves Jeopardy and is so very good at hosting it. My hubby has been
watching for so many years and I listen from here or sometimes I actually
do sit in front of the tv.
My hubby said they are saying Alex's cancer is in remission. I don't know if
that is true or a rumor but he looks good and his voice is as strong as ever
so i truly hope he beats the stuffing out of this disease.
I have no doubt that the excitement over James is energizing and inspiring
and Alex seems to sincerely like him.
I think it would be a great idea to let his best opponents/fellow players
have another go in the future bc they don't stand a chance with this one.
Have you ever noticed that both James and Ken Jennings have a "coolness"
    about them? a level head?
I can think of answers from my chair but on tv - forget it. I'd be a blubbering
    tongue tied idiot, lol.
I admire ppl that can perform under pressure. It's not my thing.

JENN- you're too funny! I am glued to it every night too
I love Alex Trebek and hope he will beat this awful disease. He is so likeable. And I just adore James. He's a cute whiz for sure!
I've been a fan of the show for decades. It's fun and stimulating.
I have a feeling James would beat Ken Jennings easily. Just a hunch of course but he's so quick!
I grew very fond of Jennings as well but James is just so adorable.

I wish James could have beaten Ken Jennings' record. I'm sad that didn't happen.

I wasn't online much today but I heard ... after the Jeopardy show ... that it was leaked that James would lose tonight. It was all over the internet. My son read it but didn't tell me because he didn't want to spoil it for me. Thank you, son! How tacky, tacky, tacky that his loss was leaked.

I'm going to miss James. And .... he was a very gracious loser tonight.

Oh, how sad! But, let's remember that he'll be back on all those 'champion' special shows coming up!

To me it seemed like his losing was deliberate. Not sure what happened, but it sure didn't seem right. Was very disappointed the way it ended. Nobody seemed surprised. This is just my own humble opinion.

I walked in right when they did final Jeopardy and James just didn't seem the same to me. I wish I could have seen the entire show. I can't believe I missed it.
So mojo, I think you may be onto something.
