Your Doctor said what? Did he offer the testing and you said no because of price because I have never heard of any Doctor not imaging after something like this. All facilities negotiate on price for imaging cutting prices substantially. I can get CT/MRI's for patients as low as 40% of the "list" price. Price is not a reason to ignor neurological signs.

Hosta, this sounds like what my hubby does when his sugar gets out of whack. He goes to lala land and then forgets when it happens. I feed him and get his sugar up but he doesn't remember. Something else to check. YOu need to find a county hospital close or Free clinics. Wishing you luck.

I only have experience with a lady friend of ours, who had some of the same symptoms you have mentioned. She lost almost 4 days while we were camping. The Dr said she had a bladder infection.

Metro General Hospital has a program for people without insurance. I haven't looked into the particulars, but you might want to see what is available.
