Cold and windy with a dusting of snow on the ground Sat. morning. More rain this week and cold. Last Sunday 70 degrees today back to winter coats. Minnesota weather ugh. Oh well more time for sewing.

I didn't read this post until today. Could you please send some of that mositure my way. My DH just came home from work because the evacuated his plant because we have 4000 acres of wildfires. We have not had rain or snow at all this year. And it is WINDY.

Here in Central Texas we need rain so much, if it ever rains again we will be dancing the "Texas Two Step" in the mud...but you are right rainy days do make for good quilting days...enjoy the wet.

A good day to stay indoors and quilt!
How's your Saturday weather where you are at?

It was a beautiful day here!
I went to the library and got a whole box of paperbacks for $2.50 at their book sale.
I went to a local fine art show - paintings and drawings.
Saw a watercolor by a school kid that gave me an idea for a quilt technique.
Went to our local quilt shop nearby ....and to the antique shop across the street.
Then I went down to the end of the street, which is a kind of bay edge fishing place, and went to the KITE FESTIVAL. One of the ladies from our church gave me an itty bitty wee little kite, a 4" airplane that I flew the rest of the afternoon! I missed the judging earlier, but there were still 16 kites in the air.
Pretty near a perfect day, wouldn't you say for anybody?
