I'm a cat lover and have 3 now - Tigger, Missy and Bleu and they all love helping cut and sew my quilts together! In fact Missy likes to sit on top of my sewing machine while I sew.

I have 2, both are rescues. Cindy is 6yrs. and is solid black and is my quilter. She is my DH lovebug. Dennis the Mences (he was named by the Rescue group) is my lovebug. He can take me sewing only so long then he thinks he has to have mommie time.

This is the first year the coyotes have gotten so close to our place.

they say here on news that it's because of the draught and they are looking for more food and water so they are even coming into towns.

A somewhat recent cat parent for the 1st time. He's a delightful Tuxedo, "Clouseau." Prior to that, dogs - big, slobbery, loves of dogs, but am getting too old now to keep up with them.

The percentage is probably as varied as there are variances in quilters.

We have two cats. We were always just a one cat home, and always have had Tom kitties. Until we were adopted by the most incredible cat who was dumped we surmise near our home... Who we found was already spayed, she must have been loved by someone? The vet said that they are seeing more animals abandoned during these bad economic times :0( We named her Princess Girlie Girl as she is so feminine compared to our Tom kitty....Our other is a yellow neutered tom named Kip-Purr. Two dogs both rescues...Rusty is a Corgi/traveling man breed and our baby is a Miniature Wirehaired Dachshund named Pickles.

No animals here. However, my son had a dog and cats (gone now) and my daughter had 3 cats and 2 dogs. All she has now is one of each.

I love animals, but not their hair!
