    Welcome and waving from Arkansas. You're not the Lone Ranger on this one. I've found it really helps to use a piece of painters tape on my machine to mark a 1/4" line and not totally rely on my 1/4" foot. Don't give up and by the way.....none of us are perfect.

    Being a newbie myself, I have the same problem. Not only that I cannot get my cutting accurate either.

    After hours of frustration, I just say, poo, oh well, it gives it character. ;)
