Wow! If you have gotten this far why are you worried. The pattern and fabric are great. I have been quilting for more than 40 years and have never been a great piecer. You already look like a pro. Be sure and post a picture of the finished product.

I'm infamous for trying something way over my head. I don't go for the easy patterns, I have to tackle designing my own based on the person receiving, or simply what I think will go well with the fabrics I love. Challenge yourself and chances are you will get more satisfaction out of doing it. If it all comes together, then you certainly aren't in over your head. Take breaks and do other projects in between and what you want to do with this pattern will make sense and flow while you are putting it together. Keep going with this one, it will turn out great! The colors are wonderful!

I'm curious. Are you PP the blocks or is it a pattern? If a pattern, which one is it? You are doing a great job and I love it all.

Wow everyone, thank you so much. I thing the main thing I needed was support from those who have a little more experience then I do. Your words of encouragement have given me the lift I need.

I'm not sure what PP stands for, but I found the pattern online for free, it was the pattern my husband liked best from the choices I gave him for our bed. I tried posting it, but it was edited out as apparently it was copy-written, oops!

And for all curious, you bet I'll post a pic when I'm done!!!

Oh, and when it comes to fussy cuts - I made stained glass pieces, big a small, for 10 years. It's the fussy cuts that remind me of the glass, which is good, because I miss it So I guess I sort of had a lot of practice with that aspect, even though it wasn't in fabric!
