I use these and they are the ones that came out and were red with clear plastic. Binding is so much easier using them. They also can hold small groups of fabrics together for a complicated pattern. They also make good cat toys! The cat has one that she's allowed to bat around while I sew. :-)

I use them for various reasons. When I'm hand binding I'll use 2-3 to hold down the binding as I go. When I sewing on fabrics I don't want pin holes in I use them there too. When I need to keep groups of fabrics pieces together I use them there. Better than a paper clip. I just have the red ones so think they might be the middle size.

I bought about 80 of the mini clips thinking how great they would be for holding the binding on while hand stitching it. Used them once and thought they were a pain in the butt. Found it just as easy to use my fingers to hold the binding in place and stitch. But then again, I'm always the odd one in the bunch!

I was "gifted" a box of small binder clips...and they work equally well...and less$$ to purchase at a large box store or office supply store..

Funny story about the Wonder Clips. I saw a couple of packages in the pantry that had the Jumbo clips as bag closer. I asked DH did he get the clips from my sewing room? He said No he bought a package of them at Hobby Lobby when he was looking for a woodworking magazine. He said they were at the check out and he knew we needed some new clips. He said these clips are better then the others we had.

I have regular and Jumbo sizes. I seldom use the Jumbo, but love the originals and use them all the time.

I use the wonder clips in the process of making binding, hand sewing the binding and when matching seams(I think they do better than pins at this.) I use straight pins much less. I really like getting stuck less!!
    I think you'll like them.

I have always used hair clips for the binding:

Do the wonder clips work better?

Love the original ones for binding and the minis for EPP. Watch for them at Joann’s with coupon. Good investment.

I have the 2 smaller sizes and love the smaller ones for binding. Will never use pins again.
