What sizes are crumb I have not work with them but have see them on the site. what size and what they are using them for?

I think personally, everybodies crumbs are different. but to me.... anything under 2 - 3 inches is a crumb

I consider crumbs to be .5 inch to less than 2in sq..

and 3x3 up to less than a fq I consider scraps...

Everyone will be different as some can work with smaller sizes and others like me cant..

You can make crumbs in different sizes. The smaller they are the crumbier (is that a word?) they are. If you make them larger, say 12” then there are more strips and it doesn’t look as crumby.

I use used dryer sheets and sew my crumbs on it. I call it making fabric. Scrap Happy I love your blocks :thumbup:

Thanks you for your help. I have been working with crumb for years and call them scrape. here is some of my crumb prog. I just finshed for my young es son and two I'm working on for christmas for two more of my sons. Again thank for the help.

I don't use any of these methods. I cut small squares of fabric and piece the scraps on those like piecing on paper. I just leave the fabric and the strange fabrics and odd seams are reinforced by the backing fabric.

sweetpea, I love your quilts!!! Thank you for sharing pictures. They are beautiful!!! :thumbup: I'm sure your son is loving his quilt and your other son's will be thrilled with theirs. It's always fun for me to look at all the different fabrics in crumbs and scrap quilts.
