I'm not entirely satisfied with this quilt. I need some ideas on how to "spark" it up. It could be a quilt for my soon-to-be DIL, who likes things simple, uncomplicated. I'm just not sure what it needs. Ideas? Thinking of adding a large border for the drop. Maybe one of the green tones?

Looks good from here! Your inspector didn't have any ideas for you?

I think it is perfect the way it is! If it comes with the cat, even better.

You want to "spark it up", from here it's sparking.

I don't think it needs to be "sparked" up.
You say that she likes uncomplicated - I think this fits the bill.

It is beautiful as is. Plain and Simple.

I say finish it the way it is. It doesn't need any more pizazz, oomph, or spark. :)

I agree. You did a great job with the placement of the different colors to keep it balanced.

Sophie is, indeed, my "inspector". It's not a quilt, until she sits on it.

I think it is a lovely quilt and very well done. I think a wide boarder would be okay if you wanted to do a drape. I feel the narrow boarder you have leaves it a bit unfinished based on the size of the blocks. Just M2C.

I am sure she will love it. I do!
