For quilting I would SID around all the sashings and borders, then FMQ each block (squiggles and meanders would do), and then make vines with leaves in the outer large border. Some of this in the sashings would look nice also.

This quilt is not ugly. I made a quilt I thought ugly but when I quilted it everyone loved it. I get more compliments with that one then any I've done. Just do some neat quilting and you will see. Just keep looking at it and an idea of how you want to quilt will come.

You might try picking out one of the other colors in your border,
hold that color next to your quilt and see which one makes it
stand out the most. After you make that decision, change your
border and you have saved your quilt and will still be happy with it.

Hi Gayle's Quilts, It is rrue it needs a little 'lift' you could quilt it with a dark pink thread or a metalic thread, and maybe bind it in a green taken from the floral fabric. It is well pieced so not ugly at all -- take heart.Love Letty
