This is unbelievable. I just did that a couple of days ago. I told them we are not asking for two or three hours a day...30 minutes each day would be great but if they could squeeze in an hour that would be even better.

For me...anything crafty would be great.

I am going to send them another one..

I agree with you. I sent the comment below to HGTV and I have asked my quilting friends to contact them too.

The link to send HGTV a comment is: http://www.hgtv.com/contact-us/package/index.html

Also note you are required to select a category for what your comment is regarding and there is nothing about sewing or quilting to choose from. I chose message board.

    Here is what I wrote:

I would like to suggest your bring back quilting shows to your network. I have watched repairs to every possible thing in a home, decorating for every room in a home in every possible style. I have watched people select their first home, sell their first home, find another home till I'll over it!

Quilting is an American tradition that makes for beautiful home decor. It is an art form that is simple or elaborate or elegant. It is something that many, many men and women across our country engage in. We, the quilting community, would love to have a program like Simply Quilts back on HGTV and we hope you consider adding this to your line up.

    Thanks.

OK, I did too, but I got awfully wordy, but I just expressed myself the way I normally do! Where it said "What was it in regard to" I just clicked Apps. I do not know what that means and I told them I didn't understand Apps unless it applies to applications in which case I screwed up royal.

I don't understand that lingo, but I do understand wanting to watch some quilting shows on tv. I do get to watch Fons and Porter on Tuesday and Thursday mornings on Ch.17 - KTCI - 7:00 AM -St. Paul, Minnesota, but that's all that is on here at all - one bit!!!! Thanks for bringing up the fact that we do need a couple more quilting shows. For all the shows the HGTV has on, there has to be something for us. After all, how many of us can redo our back yard on a $60,000 budget or buy a summer home in Outer Slobovia for 550,000 Euros. But we can make quilts out of old shirts and skirts and blouses and fabric that is on sale, can't we! Edie
