I sewed the 2 triangles in the top corners with the binding. I bought the dowel, cut to size. Now, how in the world do I hang it on the wall?

For a lightweight hanging, I've had luck with the 3M Command hooks. Just rest the dowel in the crook of the hooks.

..but beware...I have had a few things fall off after 2/3yrs of hanging with 3M.. If it's very lite weight used sewing machine needles are good to use.

You're going to gasp, but my seasonal wall hangings are hung by tapping 2 tiny nails right into them at the top 2 corners. Hasn't hurt them a bit, they always hang straight, and after 5-6 seasons, I'm ready to replace them anyhow. Would never do it with a quilt however.

If you clean the spot on the wall with alcohol before putting up the command strip hook it will hold. I have command hooks in my sewing room holding up wall hangings and they have been hanging there for several years. I use the larger size hooks.

I've had some pictures hanging in my study on command type hooks for 15 years and they haven't come down. I also clean the wall well with alcohol and let it dry before I put the hooks up.

I've used command hooks or small nails. I use small magnets to hang on my front door.

You can use brads (small nails) to rest the dowel on.

I sew small gold rings( used for macrame) in each corner low enough so you can not see them. I then put 1 small nails in the wall and hang it. I have found that a dowel rod will always slip off.
