I was wondering how many have started or completed a dear jane quilt? It seems to be such a large undertaking to finish one, I wondered how long it would take to do it and what kept you going to finish such a project. How many bought the book and templates and some material and stopped there or did you continue on doing the blocks? It is such a pretty quilt but would you get sick of it before you finished?

I bought the book and the templates and have done a few of the blocks - I fear doing it justice . Many here on the board have done it and done beautiful jobs on them - a group just finished the project

I want to do a Farmer's Wife quilt. I am very drawn to the books "Civil War Love Letters" and "Civil War Diaries" quilt books. I love the stories in them. I also want the Hobo Quilts book.

I did a Baby Jane. Bought the book and the computer program. It took me about 3 years. Hand pieced all the blocks I did and machine quilted it.
