Inexpensive Holiday Gifting for Quilters?

If you happen to be ordering from Connecting Threads....those little purple snips they sell are AWESOME and not very expensive if shipping is already covered. I think I have about 5 pair now and I want at least that many more - I want one pair to stay with each sewing machine, plus one for my car, one for my purse, one for my cutting table... I'm seriously in love with those little purple scissors!

I hope this doesn't post twice. I have been making ruffle scarves. Do a Google or Pinterest search for instructions and videos. Sashay Yarn can be bought on sale at Wal-Mart, Joanne, and Hancock averaging about $5 per skein. Requires a J crochet hook and scissors. These make a terrific gift, and only take about 30 minutes!!! Requires NO proficiency in crocheting.

I get them really cheap on ebay. I think I got six for $2.

Thank you! My DD has lots of co workers and this will be nice and inexpensive enough they won't be made to feel they undergifted her and they will really like the gift. Hard to do both theses days.

One year I made Chai Latte Mix and gave everyone a container. That was a big hit. I'll put the recipe in the recipe section. Also I have made the sugar scrub for hands and put in big plastic candy dishes with lids. I still get thank yous for that gift from several years ago.

I seldom have a clogged drain, not any at all since the kids grew up and out, and I use the scrub a lot. I'm on a septic system and it's checked once a year and so far we have gotten a good check up.
