I meet my goal. One paper pieced block and borders on Baltimore Halloween. Yeah!!!
My granddaughter came over to play so I thought I was not going to finish, but she took a long nap.

Krista, your triangle top is amazing! You are very creative to come up with that concept and I absolutely love your border design!

I have the sleeve sewed onto the back of the shamrock wall hangings (making two of them), just need to add the binding and they're done.

Here is my "ugly fabric" quilt. Lots of little tiny (1") triangles cut from the uglies I received in the guild exchange. My intention was for it to look like the triangles were falling from the top, and collecting in the stars. The multi-colour in the lower right was supposed to be 3 of the colours mixing together. Not sure the effect came through, but there is no fabric left to try again, so this is the final quilt.

Now to figure out borders (one thought is shown in the second pic - comments welcome. I would put a wider border of the background fabric outside the pieced border).

I love that quilt! And using all the colors in the border like that would look fabulous!

Wow. so much accomplished today! Congrats to those of you who met your goals! It's great to see everyone's projects. I know this sounds like nothing, but I quilted a yard's worth of border... and it took all day to do it. But I'm slightly more than halfway done, so maybe next VQD I'll finish it!

    QuiltnNan, I love your hearts!

I finished one of the wall hangings. Yay for me! The other one just needs the binding and that will be easy to do tomorrow. This has been a lot of fun today!
