    Default Joseph's coat....

I was on a site instructing doing a Joseph's coat via hand appliqué. Used stitch and wash on petals....new to me ad I don't do hand appliqué generally. Had anyone here used it? This tute was from Australia, I believe, and rather dated - 2009...... Interesting product...did look it up, made by floriani

Never heard of stitch and wash either. It is nice to post where the site you are discussing is located on the internet.

Floriani Stitch and wash is a machine embroidery stabilizer that dissolves in water when the embroidery is finished. It is used whenever you do not want the stabilizer visible - i.e. free standing lace. I use it quite a bit for embroideries going into decorative pillows or quilts so there is not stiffness left that will affect the fabric "feel".

Red Rocks Threads in Nevada has an online shop that sells several different quantities of Stitch and Wash, and hundreds of products for machine Embroidery and other items. http://www.redrockthreads.com/result...=Stitch+n+wash

    I've used this brand: http://www.amazon.com/Publishing-Was.../dp/1571209190

This one is also by C&T Pub, it just doesn't have Beth Ferrier's name on it: http://www.ctpub.com/wash-away-stitch-stabilizer/

There's probably similar Pellon products in your local Joann's and Hancocks.

    dontlooknow.typepad.com was where I was.......

so after I post the site, I clicked to make sure and yes it's the site, but Joseph's coat tute is nowhere to be found....I originally found it via Pinterest.....goes to show how old some of these "pins" are. I get the Pinterest stuff via a email periodically, thanx to dd! I don't know how it works!
i apologize to those who might have wanted to see the technique...I should have saved it.
