Somthing to clarify with her next time. I'd let it go this time.

I like the direction of the quilting on this quilt.

I don't think it makes any difference on this one, but like someone else I would dicuss it with her next time.

I agree with RenaB. Looks good but ask her to be more careful next time. Great price!

I am a long arm quilter and that pattern is called wishbone.

Is the quilt square? If so did you tell her which end was the top or the "north" If not then truly it is not her fault.

I think you should talk to her, this is the problem I see. If every time you look at the quilt will it 'bug' you? If so then it needs to be addressed, if not then ask for a discount.

If I was to do that I would either refund the money or if the lady was upset cause it would 'bug' her I would rip it out. However if it is square and she didn't know which end was the top maybe she would offer a discount to keep you happy.

    just my thoughts

Looking at your quilt, I notice that the quilting is going left to right on the DIRECTIONAL? pieces with the birds. I think she thought this is the way you wanted. Next time just attach a note indicating top/bottom for her. She did a nice job and you can't beat that price. NIce quilt and quilting!

I really like the how she quilted it. It makes it have more interest instead of everything going in the same direction.
