I'd tell her it was for my gs and not for her! I made my oldest dgs a "real quilt' for Christmas, a "real quilt" made from colored by crayola squares, and a panel quilt for my oldest gd. They all turned out pretty good {I think} and they loved everyone of them. (including my son and dil)

I worked harder keeping the panel from getting wonky than I did on his other "real" quilts! Kinda hoping he likes it just cause his tomater is on it. do any of you feel it is crappy to use a panel? I used the world on the back so when he is older, or now, he can look at the map and know his dad Army-deployed, is There.
Well, my GGson is getting one with the same panel so "crappy" may be one persons opinion but I worked real hard on that one !!

Well, I just started to make a "quilt" today starting with a panel in the middle..it is not as easy as it looks. I have had two false starts already. Tomorrow I will go for attempt number three, but this time I REALLY THINK I have it figured out. And yes, it will be a QUILT!
