Default MSQC Thread-Anyone tried it yet?

Saw the launch video for MSQC's ( Missouri Star Quilt Co. - Jenny Doan & Family) new thread line. Great introductory price, has anyone close to their brick & mortar shops had the opportunity to purchase and try it yet? They have all Cotton and a polyester line 70+ Colors. From the way it is presented online the regular price will be higher, but reasonable. Right now it's under $4 for a good sized spool. I just don't want to order several without some good review information - and if I'm paying shipping I would want to order more than one spool. Any information is appreciated!!

I ordered when it was the daily deal and will post a review when I receive and try it out.

It's been for sale on their website a good while before the official launch. I bought the neutral pack in cotton and a few colors in the poly. I have used the cotton to piece and so far I like it. I haven't noticed any build up of lint. I'm going to stock up on the cotton before it goes to regular price. It costs more then Connecting Threads cotton spools per yard though.

The next time they have free shipping, order a spool and try it out. I bought the special back months ago for the Aurifil thread and I don't want to change to another thread type.

I have lots of Aurifil and it's good thread but I'm not loyal to it.

Which one would you use for piecing and which for quilting or top stitching? Cotton? polyester?
