What is a wand magnet and stiletto?....omg Love Mine. If you drop a pin, just wave the wand across the floor and there it is. I've picked up pins I didn't even know I dropped. Plus, I have mine sitting directly in front of me when I sew. I grab the pin before it reaches the sewing needle, reach in the direction of my wand (don't have to hunt for the pin cushion or container with pins) it's sucks it up and I continue on my way.
Flat head pins are especially nice to use with the wands. I will bet I have 50 pins on mine. All sides and they stay put.

Got all ideas written down!! Won't have to worry about "quilt inspector"...have a 3 YO DGD and 6 YO DGS who will tell me EVERYTHING they think I do wrong!! Yep, and they KNOW not to touch Nana's sewing things!! I made their own little "stash" so they can play while I'm doing the grown up thing!!
Marking pen/pencils are what I have a big problem with. I have a white quilting pencil and a blue one. I need a good "disappearing or wash out one". I have read so many pro and cons on them, I'm confused! :)

Addition, some good English hand sewing needles and a comfortable thimble. The only one I can stand on my stubby fat fingers is the leather coin one. Clover distributes it, I think. Since they are easily misplaced a pair of small sharp scissors on a ribbon to hang around your neck. A small basket will help keep small things handy.

The little butterfly screwdirvers so you can take off your needlplate and clean and oil under the bobbincase. My rule of thumb is after every 8 hours of sewing, same goes with replacing your needles. This is very important so you don't mess up your timing with a slightly off or worn needle. So lots of extra needles, you never know when one might break-usually when the sewing shop is closed. Sewing machine oil, know your machine manul so you can maintain your machine. (saves trips to the service department) Lots of good quality thread white , black, grey or tan. Colors are for when you are quilting on top or sewing on your binding.
