I am really drawn to the black sashing with border of red or red binding. I don't usually care for yellow but using it as sashing does give it kind of an old world charm. If she went that route I would work black in there too - narrow border or binding. Either way cute, cute, cute! She did a phenomenal job! Don't forget to show off the finished quilt for us.

I'd go with the black sashing. It is very pleasing on the eye, and brings 'it' all together. The red was too much, in my opinion, and the other colors didn't have the dramatic affect that the black sashing has.

Great work! Your daughter should be very proud of herself!

Just up to you, but I like the red sashing the best, the blocks look great.

yellow gets my vote because it softens the overall look, going with a bright look I like the blue
