They're fun, they're fairly fast going, and kids love them. I'm not so sure about others, but I use two of each square of an animal print, a car, sport ball, or cute doll print if for a girl. Etc, etc you pick 'em. When the child looks the quilt over they match up the pictures (blocks) and usually have a good time with them. Young kids of course. You also can use letters, or numbers, or shapes i.e. squares, triangles and so on. I made one that included bugs and funny little monsters. My granddaughter, age 4, loved it.

I've heard of I Spy's but have never gotten the full definition of them. They sure sound fun!

I'm getting closer on the boys' first bed quilts. I thought D9P's with novelty focus fabrics would be good. Maybe they need I Spy pillow cases?!?!

If you want to do an I-Spy using a disappearing nine-patch, put the I-Spy squares in the 4 corners of the 9-patch. That is a fun one to do and can be very colorful.

Do y'all use teflon on the pot holders and if so, where do you find it? We only have JoAnns here and I have never seen any there.

    Thanks
