You can get a petition started or go right to the manager
and voice your concerns, someone did in our area, because
we don't have any sewing/material places within 10 miles,
so they ended up keeping the fabric. Good Luck...It can
be done.

The WM near me all closed out their fabric dept. when they remodeled 2-3 yrs ago ... all they've had since are a few flimsy fat 1/4's & precuts. They just have more junky crafts & kids stuff.
Now that the scrapbooking craze is fading, maybe ?? they'll REALIZE that sewers & quilters bought a LOT of fabrics & notions there ...

It seems there are a lot of us concerned about this- I think we may need to organize an effort to give Wal-mart the message that the public wants the fabric dept. I would think Wal-mart is in the business to make money- our voices should count for something.

Then why are they putting fabric back into several of the stores? They put it back into two of the stores in North Alabama.
